The Story Behind Wellness Kona

Wellness Kona began with someone we loved deeply: our mother.
When she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, our family’s world changed. As her condition progressed, she experienced significant discomfort and was prescribed numerous medications. We wanted to explore additional ways to support her comfort and quality of life during the time we had left together.

That’s when our family discovered CBD and CBG.

Her experience with CBD and CBG had a profound impact on us. Most importantly, those final days taught us the value of comfort, presence, connection, and having meaningful time with the people we love.

The CBD and CBG she used wasn’t a mass-produced formula. It had been carefully developed by a chemist we knew personally, with attention to formulation, quality, and potency.

After her passing, we couldn’t forget what that experience meant to our family.

It became the inspiration for Wellness Kona.

From a Family Experiencx to a Integrative Wellness Company

As we began exploring CBD and CBG for our own wellness routines, we noticed a major difference between products on the market.

Not all hemp products are created equally.

Some contained unnecessary ingredients. Others didn’t provide the potency, quality or consistency we were looking for. We wanted something simpler, cleaner, and intentionally formulated.

So we returned to the chemist who had created our mother’s original formula.

Together, we refined and strengthened the formulations with one goal: create premium CBD and CBG products with medical grade potency we would feel confident giving to our own family.

That philosophy continues to guide Wellness Kona today.

What Makes Wellness Kona CBD & CBG Different?

High-Potency Formulations
We prioritize concentrated CBD and CBG formulations designed for people looking for premium hemp wellness products without unnecessary extras.

Clean, Minimal Ingredients
Our philosophy is simple: include what matters and leave out what doesn’t.

Our products are formulated without unnecessary fillers, preservatives, pesticides, or harmful additives.

CBD + CBG Wellness
While many hemp companies focus primarily on CBD, Wellness Kona also recognizes the growing interest in CBG (cannabigerol) and cannabinoid-based wellness.

Our products are designed to make incorporating cannabinoids into your daily wellness routine simple and approachable.

Crafted With Expertise
Our formulations grew from a collaboration with a chemist and continue to reflect our
commitment to thoughtful formulation, potency, consistency, purity, and quality.

Born From Personal Experience
Wellness Kona began with our mother.

That experience continues to shape how we formulate our products, educate our customers, and approach every person who comes to us looking for another way to support their well-being.
